Due to continued business growth, we are expanding our sales team and are seeking a Clinical Sales Specialist to support our Western Australia territory. This role can be based in Perth, with responsibility for managing and growing a defined WA territory.
As a Clinical Sales Specialist, you will be part of a regional sales team, promoting and selling Dentsply Sirona consumable products. You will drive market share and penetration while building long-term customer relationships through a clinically led sales approach.
To deliver and exceed sales and growth targets for your assigned territory through effective clinical sales activity, strong product knowledge, and customer engagement aligned with regional sales plans and national product strategies.
Territory Planning & Strategy
Develop, manage, and execute an annual Territory Sales Plan aligned with agreed sales targets and business objectives
Conduct ongoing market and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and respond to market changes
Support the Sales Manager in contributing to longer-term strategic planning
Sales Execution & Customer Engagement
Build strong relationships with customers, key decision makers, and opinion leaders
Act as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing and resolving issues in collaboration with internal stakeholders
Communicate customer needs and expectations effectively to internal teams
Work with the Sales Manager to develop and deliver regional Clinical Education initiatives, including collaboration with KOLs and technical demonstrators
Reporting & Analysis
Record all sales activities accurately in CRM on a daily basis
Review sales performance monthly and implement actions to ensure targets are achieved
Analyse segment and portfolio performance and contribute to monthly reporting
Knowledge & Capability
Maintain up-to-date clinical, technical, and product knowledge through training, self-directed learning, and research
Ensure ongoing understanding of company systems, processes, and procedures
Teamwork
Work collaboratively within the regional sales team, providing support and sharing accountability
Partner closely with the Sales Manager and State Manager to identify and leverage growth opportunities
Health & Safety
Comply with all workplace health and safety policies and procedures
Proactively identify, report, and manage safety risks
Relevant degree or qualification preferred
Formal sales training desirable
Demonstrated experience in a similar sales role
Knowledge of the dental or healthcare market (desirable)
Strong understanding of the sales process
High levels of personal drive, resilience, and motivation
Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a broader team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted customer relationships
Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including MS Office
