Summary
A powerful opportunity to lead clinical operations in a mission-driven, trauma-informed treatment environment serving clients with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health needs. Clare Matrix is currently hiring three Clinical Program Managers across key programs: Detox, Women’s Residential Treatment, and Admissions. These leadership roles are ideal for LMFTs, LCSWs, or LPCCs who thrive in high-acuity environments, value collaboration, and are passionate about delivering compassionate, culturally responsive care every day.

What You’ll Do
Oversee daily clinical operations for one of the following:
Detox Program – short-stay stabilization for clients withdrawing from substances, with high acuity and frequent coordination with medical teams
Women’s Residential Treatment – longer-term care with intensive behavioral health needs and complex trauma histories
Admissions Program – first point of contact for incoming clients, requiring strong triage skills and calm leadership during intake crises
Lead and support multidisciplinary teams including therapists, counselors, and case managers
Supervise licensed and pre-licensed clinicians, ensuring documentation and treatment plans meet county and QA standards
Partner with medical and operational staff to maintain continuity of care and contract compliance
Guide teams through high-pressure situations, de-escalations, and emergencies with steady leadership
Support performance feedback, team scheduling, and coverage coordination
Foster a collaborative, "in-the-trenches" culture where team members support each other in a dynamic, high-need setting

Experience You’ll Need
Active California license as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC
3+ years of leadership experience in behavioral health, addiction treatment, or community mental health
Strong background working with clients facing trauma, homelessness, incarceration, and substance use
Experience supervising staff and ensuring clinical documentation is audit-ready
Familiarity with electronic medical records, treatment planning, and county-driven standards
Calm, grounded leadership presence in unpredictable or fast-moving situations
Commitment to culturally responsive, trauma-informed care in a team-based environment
