Description

🌟 Coming October 2025 (Pending Funding): Clinical Program Manager – Victim Services

Washington, DC | Hybrid / On-site

Every survivor has a story. For some, it begins with a call to a crisis hotline in the middle of the night. For others, it’s walking into an ER after an assault, or standing in a courtroom facing the person who harmed them. In those moments, what they need most is compassionate, skilled, trauma-informed care β€” and a system that won’t let them fall through the cracks.

As the Clinical Program Manager – Victim Services, you will ensure those survivors are met with dignity, safety, and hope. You’ll guide the design and delivery of programs that respond not only to immediate crises but also to the long road of healing that follows.

One day, you may be supervising counselors who provide safety planning and advocacy. The next, you’re at the table with hospitals, law enforcement, and community partners ensuring seamless 24/7 crisis response. You’ll oversee budgets and grants to keep services sustainable, refine policies to meet legal standards, and train staff to practice the very best of trauma-informed care.

This role isn’t just about program management. It’s about safeguarding humanity in its most vulnerable moments β€” and leading a team dedicated to walking with survivors from crisis to recovery.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of trauma-informed victim support programs.

  • Supervise clinical and advocacy staff: hiring, training, coaching, and performance management.

  • Ensure compliance with the Victims’ Bill of Rights, confidentiality standards, and funder requirements.

  • Coordinate 24/7 crisis response services with hospitals, courts, and law enforcement.

  • Manage budgets, grants, and reporting while tracking outcomes for accountability and impact.

  • Build and sustain partnerships with agencies across DC to strengthen coordinated responses.

  • Represent the program at community forums and provide external training on victim rights and trauma-informed care.

Qualifications

What You Bring

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related clinical field.

  • DC licensure (LCSW, LPC, Psychologist) or eligibility.

  • At least 5 years in victim services or trauma-informed counseling, with 2+ years in leadership.

  • Strong background in crisis intervention, safety planning, and risk assessment.

  • Experience managing grants, budgets, and compliance.

  • (Preferred) Experience in co-response or crisis response models, and serving survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, or human trafficking.

Why It Matters

For every survivor, there’s often only one chance to get the response right. As Clinical Program Manager, you ensure the door they walk through leads to safety, respect, and healing. Your leadership means survivors are not defined by their trauma, but supported in reclaiming their lives.

πŸ“Œ Expected start date: October 2025 (pending funding).
