This unique dual role combines responsibilities as a Clinical Support Nurse and a Clinical Nurse Educator, providing a dynamic opportunity to influence clinical care and workforce development at Yarrawonga Health. The successful candidate will work closely with nursing teams across Acute, Aged Care and Community Services, focusing on mentoring early-career nurses and coordinating clinical education programs.
As Clinical Support Nurse, the role supports graduate and novice nurses by providing supervision, guidance, and hands-on support in the clinical environment. As Clinical Nurse Educator, the position leads the development, coordination, and delivery of clinical education programs, annual competency assessments, and professional development activities for nursing staff.
This position is ideal for an experienced and passionate nurse who thrives on supporting others and driving excellence in clinical practice and education.
As the Clinical Nurse Educator, you will coordinate and lead the delivery of education and training across all clinical areas including Acute, Aged Care, and Community Services. You will work closely with the Director of Clinical Services and be supported by Clinical Support Nurses to plan, schedule and facilitate education programs, mandatory training, and clinical competencies.
You are a passionate educator and experienced clinician with a commitment to supporting others through education, development, and clinical supervision. You bring strong interpersonal skills, sound clinical knowledge, and a collaborative mindset.
