Haxtun Health is seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Clinical Informatics Manager to lead the advancement of clinical technology and drive meaningful improvements in patient care, workflow efficiency, and data-driven decision-making across our organization.
Starting Pay Range: $105,297.51/yr – $136,886.76 , depending on experience

Job Summary:
The Clinical Informatics Manager leads the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of clinical information systems to support safe, high-quality patient care within a critical access hospital. This role collaborates closely with clinicians, leadership, IT partners, and vendors to optimize electronic health records and clinical workflows, ensuring efficient documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements. The position combines strategic oversight with hands-on support, including system optimization, staff training, workflow enhancements, and project management. Additionally, the Clinical Informatics Manager supports data reporting, quality improvement initiatives, and serves as a key liaison to ensure technology solutions effectively meet clinical and operational needs.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Qualifications:
- Current Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Experience supporting EHR implementation, system optimization, or clinical workflow improvement.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Nursing Informatics, Information Technology, or a related clinical field.
- Three to five years of experience working with clinical information systems, informatics, or EHR implementation in a healthcare setting.
- Experience leading clinical system implementation or workflow improvement initiatives.
- Experience participating in clinical workflow improvement or quality improvement initiatives.
- ANCC Informatics Nursing Certification.

- Retirement Plan: Up to a 3% employer match, which increases with your length of service. New employees are automatically enrolled at a 1% contribution rate (can be opted out). Employees must complete 5 years of employment to be 100% vested.
- Employee Health Payment Match: Haxtun Health matches employee payments up to $1,000 per year per family for services received at Haxtun Health’s hospital or clinics.
- Family and Medical Leave Insurance Program (FAMLI): Haxtun Health participates in the CO FAMLI program, which is a social insurance program that provides up to 12 weeks of paid leave for qualifying life events.
- Term Life Insurance: 1 x annual salary term life provided by HHD, no employee premium ($200,000 Max.). Additional voluntary life insurance coverage for the employee and family is an option which can be purchased by the employee.
