Job Summary: The position’s emphasis is on training, implementation, reporting, and maintenance of the training curriculum.
Job Duties:
Provide EHR technical support on-site and off-site for Valley Health Centers
Curriculum development
Thrive/deep dive trainings
Upgrade or update
New user/onboarding
Collaborate with Training Manager and Clinical Trainers to ensure consistency in training material
Provide tip sheets for updated or new workflows
Mastery of non-clinical system functionality and workflows
Coordinate training of clinical and front office staff on the Electronic Health Record System
Assist with POMIS training as needed
Provide general Citrix training
Assist with the maintenance of the electronic communication system
Maintain limited non-clinical practice within a Valley Health center
Assist with routine weekly report
Maintain compliance with the organization’s confidentiality policy in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
Other duties as assigned
Must be available to work weekends, as needed.
Working Conditions:
Works in climate controlled normal medical office environment.
This position may require sitting or standing for extended periods of time, as well as bending, and reaching.
Required to lift or move objects up to 25 pounds.
Frequent travel is required of this position.
Qualifications:
Certified Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse with a minimum of one year experience within a Valley Health Center who demonstrates an interest and aptitude for electronic communication.
