Description

At Midland Care, we are dedicated to providing compassionate, person-centered care to older adults across our Senior Services programs. We are seeking a knowledgeable and dynamic Clinical Educator to support our staff in delivering exceptional care through training, mentorship, and professional development.

Employment Type: Full Time | Monday - Friday, 8a-5p
Pay Rate:Ā $72,500/annually+
Location: Topeka, KS

The Clinical Educator – Senior Services is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs for nursing and clinical staff. This role ensures that staff are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and competencies necessary to provide safe, evidence-based, and compassionate care to older adults. The Clinical Educator also serves as a mentor and resource for clinical best practices, regulatory compliance, and continuous quality improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess training needs and develop orientation, onboarding, and ongoing education programs for clinical staff
  • Support staff competency through observation, skills validation, and coaching
  • Stay current with best practices, regulatory updates, and innovations in geriatric care
  • Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness, making improvements as needed

Qualifications

What we're looking for:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kansas
  • Minimum 3–5 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 2 years in geriatrics, long-term care, or senior services
  • Previous experience in staff education, training, or clinical leadership strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills
