Description

The Clinical Educator for PMG AK directs and facilitates educational programs to support the development of Medical Assistants throughout every department in a manner to achieve operational excellence while ensuring integration of the Sisters of Providence core values into the life of our programs. Through the broad functions of the PMG AK Nursing and Quality department, this position directs assessment, development, implementation and evaluation of a comprehensive network of programs and activities that include technical and behavioral competencies. The role requires use of appropriate educational methods and technology, adult learning theory, and the ability to integrate mission and core values into all aspects of the role.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, education or related field, or equivalent educ/experience
  • Upon hire: National Medical Assistant Certification 
  • 5 years clinical experience as an MA in the ambulatory setting
  • 2 years experience in clinical leadership role.
  • Experience with clinical program design and implementation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration, education or related field, or equivalent educ/experience
