About the Role
We are seeking a Clinical Educator to support our Home Care teams through high-quality education, onboarding, and ongoing competency development. This role is vital to ensuring regulatory compliance, clinical excellence, and the professional growth of our colleagues.

The Clinical Educator partners closely with clinical leadership to orient new hires, assess learning needs, deliver engaging education programs, and support staff proficiency with clinical technology. This role also serves as a liaison with schools and universities to coordinate student clinical experiences.

What You’ll Do

Orientation & Staff Development

  • Design and deliver individualized orientation plans for new clinicians

  • Collaborate with clinical managers, preceptors, IT, and schedulers to support successful onboarding

  • Provide field orientation oversight and ongoing coaching

  • Review clinical documentation and offer actionable feedback

  • Serve as a mentor and resource for new and existing staff

Education & Regulatory Compliance

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate education programs aligned with federal, state, and local regulations

  • Ensure ongoing staff competency and survey readiness

  • Coordinate and maintain education records and competencies

  • Support clinical documentation accuracy within the electronic health record (HCHB)

  • Utilize adult learning principles and varied teaching strategies

Technology & Informatics Support

  • Act as an informatics liaison for clinical technology

  • Educate staff on EHR use, learning management systems, and other required tools

Additional Responsibilities

  • Participate in committees, in-services, policy development, and special projects

  • Assist with patient and community education initiatives

  • Serve as a liaison with vendors as needed

What We’re Looking For

Required / Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s in OT/ST or Doctorate in Physical Therapy required

  • OASIS certification required within one year

  • CPR Instructor Certification preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
