Description

Clinical Education Program Manager RN – SIM Lab is responsible to facilitate the formation and direct the implementation of the regional vision of clinical simulation services. This includes the provision of simulation services, the management of the primary simulation center and a variety of satellite centers. The Clinical Education Program Manager RN – SIM Lab is responsible to assess, plan and implement the strategic simulation plan, oversee operations of the regional simulation program to include the creation, implementation, evaluation and fair distribution of simulation events, training, and supervision of simulation staff across the assigned service areas.

Position is full time, 1.0 FTE, Day shift, Monday-Friday, core business hours, 40 hours per week.

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • 5 years of experience in Nursing.
  • 1 year of experience in adult education.
  • 1 year of experience in program development and/or evaluation.
  • 1 year of experience providing clinical simulation services.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Nursing, Education, Business, Administration, or related field.  Nurses without a graduate degree are required to be in active pursuit of such within the first 18 months of employment.
  • Membership in the International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning (INACSL)
