POSITION SUMMARY:
The Clinical Education Manager leads clinical onboarding and education for a rapidly growing home health agency. This role oversees the Clinical Education Department and ensures new clinicians are efficiently onboarded, clinically competent, and prepared to deliver high-quality, compliant care.
The Clinical Education Manager plays a key role in supporting organizational growth by evaluating and improving onboarding processes, education delivery, and workflows. This individual partners closely with Clinical Operations, Quality, Compliance, People Operations, and Informatics to ensure education programs scale effectively while maintaining regulatory standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead and manage the Clinical Education Department, including supervision, scheduling, and development of Clinical Educators.
Utilizing adult learning principles, oversee the development, coordination and delivery of all clinical education programs, including new hire orientation, CEM’s, and annual regulatory training.
Designs, implements, and continuously improves clinical new hire onboarding programs to support rapid, high-quality clinician integration
Evaluates education workflows and onboarding processes to improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability.
Collaborates with clinical leadership to identify educational needs and develop targeted programs to meet those needs
Partners with clinical leadership to develop, implement, and continuously improve Innovive’s New Graduate training program.
Ensure all education programs meet federal, state, and local regulatory requirements and Conditions of Participation.
Collaborates with clinical leadership and cross-functional teams to align education with operational and growth needs.
Oversee competency validation, skills assessments, required clinical training, and tracking to drive increased participation and compliance.
Monitor onboarding metrics and education outcomes to drive data-informed improvements
Provides operational support during compliance surveys, including compiling records and other requested materials.
Participation as a member of the Compliance Committee.
Research trends and best practices in clinical education and provide recommendations on changes to curriculum, training methods, etc.
Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) or other related field (see below)
Current licensure as one of the following:
Registered Nurse (RN) by the Massachusetts Board of Nursing
Physical Therapist by the Massachusetts Board of Allied Health Professions
Occupational Therapist by the Massachusetts Board of Allied Health Professions
2+ years management experience
5+ years of direct clinical experience, home health experience preferred
2+ years of experience in nursing education including content development
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and Word
Strong technical proficiency with demonstrated ability to leverage technology for training and education using remote learning platforms.
Experience with electronic medical records systems Knowledge of home health regulations and Conditions of Participation
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Education and Experience:
Master's Degree in Nursing Education and/or Certificate in Nursing Education
Master’s degree in Nursing, Therapy, Education, or related field
Experience supporting growth, change, or process improvement in a scaling healthcare organization
Knowledge of adult learning principles and competency-based education
