About the role

The Clinical Growth Lead for Occupational Therapy is responsible for supporting patient care and supporting the success of Origin by:


Performing the tasks of a Pelvic Floor Occupational Therapist (80% of time)

  • Assess patient needs by conducting thorough evaluations of pelvic floor function, musculoskeletal health, and daily living challenges.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans focusing on improving bladder and bowel control, reducing pain, and enhancing overall pelvic health.
  • Utilize evidence-based techniques such as manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, biofeedback, and therapeutic exercises.
  • Educate patients on lifestyle modifications, posture, breathing techniques, and pelvic floor muscle training to improve function and prevent future issues.
  • Provide emotional support and patient-centered care, ensuring a compassionate and respectful approach to sensitive health concerns.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physical therapists, urologists, gynecologists, and primary care providers, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Track patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on their needs and improvements.
  • Advocate for pelvic health awareness by engaging in community education and outreach efforts.
  • Clinical instruction of at least 1 student rotation per year after the first year of treatment in your specialty area
  • Other tasks as assigned


Performing tasks of a Clinical Growth Lead (20% of time)

  • Managing the onboarding process for all new clinicians to ensure competency development, smooth transition into their roles, and connection to the mission and team.  
  • Keeping educational content up to date and creating new materials as needed to support clinician growth and patient care excellence.  
  • Designing and leading skills labs, patient case scenario training, and other interactive learning opportunities.  
  • Collaborating with the Clinical Growth Manager and other stakeholders to identify educational gaps and develop solutions.  
  • Supporting a culture of clinical excellence, ongoing learning, and patient-centered care.  
  • Partnering with the Quality and Education team to ensure consistency, efficacy, and efficiency in training.  
  • Other tasks as assigned.

  • Facilitation of care that creates meaningful outcomes (in partnership / mentorship with other providers as necessary)

About you


  • Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of Maryland, with at least 2 years of experience
  • Interest in women’s health, pelvic floor therapy experience required


Bonus points 


  • Pelvic Floor certification(s) not required, but we love it!
