We are seeking a Clinical Education Consultant to create realistic and educational medical scenarios for an exciting new product. The ideal candidate will research and develop accurate medical situations, design instructional content, integrate multimedia elements, and ensure scenarios are updated with the latest medical practices through collaboration with our subject matter experts and educators.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop medical cases, including patient history, diagnostic workup, and treatment plans on our new platform.
- Quality assurance and testing of simulation cases
- Review cases written by other subject matter experts.
- Scope lesson content specific to USMLE Step 2/third-year medical students.
- Write lesson outlines and learning objectives for specified clinical topics, referencing gold-standard textbooks and peer-reviewed literature.
- Outline and write educational text to guide lesson creation.
- Review educational scripts, art, and illustrations for scientific accuracy and clarity.
- Review and edit assessment items that accompany Sketchy lessons.
- Advocate for student needs, based on domain knowledge gained through personal and professional experience.
- Execute appropriate ad-hoc projects and assignments as needed and agreed upon.
- Edit, review, and consult on other content (in your area of expertise) as needed.
What We're Looking For:
- MD/DO required, with completion of residency preferred in Internal Medicine, Neurology, or Psychiatry
- Must have experience in writing simulation cases and teaching students
- Experience in prompt engineering and with GPT preferred but not required
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced small team environment
- Creative and proactive in leading projects and ideating on ways to improve the student experience
Salary Range:
$75.00 - $100.00 per hour
