Overview

The employee will coordinate and support all student related assessments and programs during the clinical years (years three and four) not directly related to their clinical rotations.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate NBOME COMAT exams and post scores
  • Coordinate NBOME Level 2 Board examination preparation including: scheduling of COMBANK assessments, scheduling of COMSAE assessments, providing exam approvals, coordinating remediation efforts
  • Assist in coordination and follow up of off-cycle students not currently on rotations
  • Liaison with TouroCOM Learning Specialist to support students as needed
  • Assign and track all required Aquifer course assignments for all clinical students
  • Report all COMAT and Aquifer requirements for grade submission
  • Distribute and track student Interprofessional Education requirements
  • All other clerical tasks as assigned

Qualifications

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Well organized and effective time management
  • Ability to work independently or as a team
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities within a fast-paced environment
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to operate standard office technology (fax, scanner, multi-line phone)
