About Us

We are a global team of like-minded Med-Tech professionals focused on patient centric solutions in a collaborative environment leading to excellent outcomes. We have developed an advanced and unique heart failure therapy technology in the BrioVAD® Left Ventricular Assist System (LVAS). We are introducing the BrioVAD LVAS to Heart Failure clinicians for use with the large number of indicated and untreated patients who could benefit from chronic mechanical circulatory support. The initiation of our INNOVATE™ Trial in the US is only the beginning. We are building a team to develop advanced technology intended to further improve patient outcomes, increase therapy acceptance, and enabling chronic MCS therapy to be accessible to more patients across the globe.

The Role

Reporting to the Director, Clinical Services, BrioHealth Solutions is seeking a Clinical Consultant with deep ventricular assist device (VAD) expertise to support both adult and pediatric clinical initiatives across the U.S.

This is not a traditional clinical support role. You will operate at the intersection of clinical education, case support, and early-stage market development, working directly with surgeons, cardiologists, perfusionists, and ICU teams during a pivotal stage of company growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the clinical lead and primary point of contact for assigned accounts
  • Deliver hands-on training and education to surgeons, cardiologists, nurses, and hospital staff
  • Provide on-site case support during device implants and early patient management
  • Partner with sites participating in the Brio4Kids Pediatric Study and adult clinical programs
  • Translate complex clinical concepts into clear, actionable guidance
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Clinical, R&D, Quality, and Commercial teams
  • Support clinical trial execution, site readiness, and protocol adherence
  • Capture and relay voice-of-customer insights to inform product and training improvements
  • Contribute to development of training programs and educational materials
  • Provide occasional support for 24/7 clinical coverage and escalations
  • Represent BrioHealth at conferences and industry events

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Biomedical Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in heart failure / MCS / VADs strongly preferred
  • Direct experience supporting LVAD/temporary MCS cases (e.g., HeartMate, CentriMag, Impella, etc.)
  • ICU clinical experience strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to operate in high-acuity, high-pressure clinical environments
  • Exceptional communication skills-able to influence and educate diverse stakeholders
  • High ownership mindset with the ability to work independently in an evolving environment
  • Willingness to travel ~50%+ (site-dependent)
