Burke is currently seeking patient screeners to evaluate and screen prospective admissions at the main campus in White Plains, NY as well as various hospital facilities as needed on a perdiem basis.
Requirements:
Must be a New York State licensed RN, OT, PT with a minimum of 2 years’ acute rehabilitation experience.
Knowledge of screening is a plus.
Valid driver’s license required.
Required to travel to referring hospitals to screen patients and educate them and their families regarding acute rehabilitation and to build relationships with clinical staff.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Strong clinical knowledge and excellent communication skills are required.
Flexibility to work in various settings, often using mobile office equipment (laptops, cell phones) to conduct business.
Ability to maintain accuracy of work and attention to detail.
