About the Role
Join the Cancer Directorate as a Clinical Support Officer and be the calm behind busy clinics. You will manage priorities, build strong team links, create accurate admin support and maintain smooth day-to-day operations for consultants across the department.
• Support consultants with confidential admin and reception tasks
• Coordinate team workloads and manage complex requests
• Liaise with hospital teams to set priorities and resolve issues
• Guide and support less experienced admin staff
• Provide flexible support across sites as required
About You
About You
You are a calm, capable administrator who thrives in busy clinical settings and takes pride in providing accurate, compassionate support.
• Confident in high-volume admin and meeting tight deadlines
• Skilled communicator with patients, staff and teams
• Experienced in Microsoft Office and clinical data systems
• Comfortable working independently with sound judgement
• Trusted to manage sensitive information with discretion
