Purpose of Job:
The Quality Improvement (QI) Intern is responsible for supporting the QI Manager with the
implementation and management of quality improvement initiatives within NEW Health. This role involves collecting quality metrics data, assisting in quality improvement projects, and supporting a culture of continuous improvement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:
This role requires employees to be 18 years of age or older at the start date due to clinical access and regulatory requirements.
Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Skills: Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools. Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear and sit. The employee is occasionally required to move around the facility; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, climb or balance and stop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
