Behavioral Health Consultants (BHCs) will operate as a core part of a primary care team in one of our clinics (Knoxville locations and surrounding area) utilizing the Primary Care Behavioral Health (PCBH) model of care. BHC’s will work closely with Primary Care Providers to provide brief focused assessment and intervention on a variety of presenting concerns, effective communication with team members, and efficient documentation. In addition to clinical activities, BHC’s may have the opportunity to provide supervision to psychology trainees. BHC’s offer a flexible approach to behavioral health delivery, which increases access to behavioral health services.
