About the Job
Our Client is seeking two Behavioral Health Consultants to join an interdisciplinary care team dedicated to delivering high-impact, trauma-informed behavioral healthcare. This role provides short-term, individualized therapy to members with complex behavioral health conditions such as depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, and substance use disorders. As a key member of a collaborative team, you will support improved health outcomes through clinical expertise, motivational interviewing, harm reduction, and integrated care coordination.
Who You Are
You are a licensed behavioral health clinician with experience working in community mental health, inpatient psychiatric care, or with medically complex populations. You value trauma-informed care, evidence-based practices, and have a strong ability to engage members who face barriers to accessing care. You are comfortable navigating dynamic, team-based environments and maintaining clinical excellence in your documentation and service delivery.

Your Role
Provide short-term individual and group therapy, including post-discharge behavioral health follow-up
Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized, SMART-goal treatment plans
Collaborate with primary care providers, psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers to support behavioral health goals
Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed
Serve as a behavioral health subject matter expert within the interdisciplinary care team
Complete timely documentation in the electronic health record
Maintain active communication with patients and care team members to ensure adherence to care plans
How You Qualify
Licensure: LCSW-C, LPC, LPCC, LCPC, LMHC, PhD, or PsyD (must allow for independent clinical practice in Maryland)
Minimum 3 years of experience in behavioral health; 2 years in a community mental health or similar setting
