Job Description Summary

The Continuing Education – Health Science department is looking for healthcare professionals, from a variety of disciplines, to teach in a variety of specialty courses. Some these courses include critical care, progressive care, emergency department, basic arrhythmia, perioperative nursing, and clinical skills training. We are also in need of Simulation Nurses and Simulation Technicians and are willing to train. Work hours are variable, and scheduling is done on your availability. Classes are offered during the day, evening, and weekends.

  • Nursing 
  • Respiratory Therapy 
  • Pharmacy 
  • Medical Assistants 
  • EMT/ EMS 

 

The successful candidate will have: 

  • Real World” healthcare experience 
  • Mastery of their specific discipline 
  • Technology competencies 
  • Teaching skills (preferred) 

Minimum Certification/Licenses: 

  • Must have a current, active unrestricted State of Florida License: RN licensure, Respiratory Therapy Licensure, EMT-certificate, Paramedic Certificate, or other healthcare professional licenses may be considered. 
  • AHA BLS Healthcare Provider required; AHA ACLS Provider preferred. 

Minimum Experience/Training:

  • At least two years of related field experience in the specified discipline/specialty preferred.
