We are currently looking for a Clinical Documentation Reviewer (Medical Records) to support one of our ABA client’s U.S. healthcare providers in maintaining accurate and compliant patient records.

In this role, you will review clinical documentation, manage electronic health records, and ensure all records meet healthcare and insurance compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compile and maintain accurate patient medical records
  • Review clinical documentation for completeness and compliance
  • Identify missing information or documentation errors
  • Ensure records meet healthcare and insurance standards
  • Work within multiple electronic health record systems
  • Provide feedback on documentation improvements when necessary
  • Maintain strict confidentiality with sensitive medical information

Skills & Experience

  • Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  • High emotional intelligence and empathy
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Experience in healthcare coordination or administration is advantageous

Work Schedule & Requirements

  • Hours: Mon – Fri, 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM SAST (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST), subject to change depending on USA daylight savings.
  • Public Holidays: You will be required to work on both South African and US public holidays (compensation for SA public holidays in accordance with the BCEA).
  • Internet: A fixed fibre line with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps (upload & download) and the ability to support a wired Ethernet connection is mandatory. Applicants without a fixed fibre line cannot be considered.
  • Power Backup: A reliable power backup solution is required to manage load shedding and power outages. Applicants without a power backup cannot be considered.
  • Environment: Fully remote.
