We are currently seeking a Wellness Coach to work in Denton, TX. This is a part-time, contracted position.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The part-time, contracted Wellness Coach assists the EAP by guiding virtual and corporate health & wellness coaching clients through meaningful coaching sessions and an onsite presence as needed. The goal of the Wellness Coach is to change lives via connection and growth-promoting relationships. The Wellness Coach contributes to the overall success of AllOne Health by providing expertise and guidance. This position services approximately 30-40 hours per year, with the ability to expand their role to additional client organizations through coaching, virtual trainings, and more.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & DUTIES:
- Approach all clients with respect in hopes of guiding them toward their goals.
- Display superior coaching skills in motivational interviewing, client-centered approach, open-ended inquiry, for presenting issues surrounding physical wellness not limited to stress reduction, fitness, general nutrition, and habit-specific coaching, etc.
- The comfort and ability to present educational information surrounding health and wellness topics.
- Contact all clients in a timely and respectful manner, honoring both parties’ time.
- Keep clear and concise notes and enter data, as needed.
- Assist as a key wellness coach for corporate clients, both on and off site, as needed.
- Local travel as required to corporate client location in Denton, Texas.
QUALIFICATIONS:

- Excellent people-skills to engage in coaching sessions
- Education and working knowledge in the health and wellness field
- Nationally Recognized Health or Wellness Certification or related Certification, in the area of Corporate Wellness Coaching, and/or Relevant Certifications and Training
- Bachelor's degree in health science, Biomedical Science, Corporate Wellness, Nutrition, Public Health, Exercise Science, or related field preferred
- Minimum 3 years wellness program development, coaching and implementation experience
- Certified nutrition coach, corporate wellness coach, group exercise instructor or personal trainer preferred (with nationally recognized program)
- Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications
