Specialist / Senior Officer, Business Process Improvement

Role Purpose:
Drive organizational excellence by leading process improvement initiatives, optimizing workflows, and enabling efficient business operations. Support the South Andaman project through systematic process review, enhancement, and implementation activities.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Lead and support end-to-end business process reviews to identify inefficiencies, gaps, redundancies, and improvement opportunities across departments.
- Develop optimized workflows, procedures, and operating standards that improve operational efficiency, consistency, and compliance.
- Facilitate process mapping sessions, improvement workshops, and change management activities to ensure stakeholder alignment and understanding.
- Conduct data analysis and performance assessments to measure process effectiveness and identify improvement trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, test, and implement new processes and ensure successful adoption.
- Support organizational readiness for South Andaman by strengthening governance structures, clarifying roles/responsibilities, and enhancing process documentation.
- Ensure all process improvements align with company policies, regulatory requirements, and HSE expectations.
- Provide periodic reporting to management on improvement initiatives, implementation progress, and performance outcomes.
Qualifications include but are not limited to the following:
Education:
- Minimum bachelor's degree in any major.
Experience:
- Specialist: >10 years of relevant experience in process improvement, business analysis, operational excellence, or transformation roles.
- Senior Officer: >5 years of experience in improvement or operational excellence roles.
- Officer: >3 years of experience in process evaluation, workflow analysis, or internal improvement support.
Technical & Management Skills:
- Strong understanding of process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, BPMN).
- Experience conducting process mapping, gap analysis, root cause analysis, and workflow redesign.
- Ability to evaluate and simplify complex processes while maintaining governance and compliance.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities with proven problem-solving capability.
- Excellent facilitation skills for workshops and cross-functional discussions.
- Capable of driving change and ensuring adoption of new processes across teams.
- Strong communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
- High commitment to operational excellence, HSE standards, and continuous improvement culture.
