Social & Elderly Wellness Manager / Social Worker - Kowloon Bay

The Job

• Responsible for managing, coordinating and monitoring the overall operation of a residential care home.
• Provide professional counseling to residents & conduct case intake and coordinate admission arrangement.
• Make timely referrals to related organizations for early treatment and to closely liaise with NGOs for follow up to prevent from further deterioration.
• Organize and implement programs, functions and activities for residents during regular intervals and especially on festive dates.
• Organize and conduct business and marketing promotion in order to achieve management goals and business strategies.
• Manage and evaluate staff including manpower planning, job allocation, training and performance.
• Coordinate statutory inspections and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
• Oversee and manage the procedure, reporting and documentation related to Residential Care Service Voucher (RCSV)
• Handle complaint, crisis management and special enquiry.

The Person

• Degree holder in Social Science/ Social Work Studies / Counseling/ Nursing Studies.
• Minimum 8 years post qualification working experience in recognized welfare organization; with experience in elderly residential care services preferable.
• Good understanding of public affairs and community relations matters, sensitivity to external political, social and economic environment.
• Good connection with various service providers and stakeholders in elderly services.
• Strong interpersonal communication skill for interactions with diverse clientele.
• Proficiency in English, Chinese and Putonghua.
