Description

Clinical Consultant role within our Health Network Cloud Based Team. Responsible for supporting the implementations of all Health Intent solutions. This individual would be responsible for understanding the client’s front end clinical workflow, advising them on our Oracle Health standard (model) recommendations and guiding Clients on what adjustments or changes would be needed to create a seamless front-end workflow for their end users. In addition, the Clinical Consultant is known as a translator between the Client and Oracle Health Consulting ensuring both parties understand one another and make clinical driven decisions. This individual will manage complex client relationships and holistically impact client performance through organizational change management, clinical strategy, training, and establishing and analyzing KPIs throughout the project.

Responsible for driving the client through the design of clinical and business processes, solution and technology workflow, and successful adoption that will lead to achieved value. Manage ongoing relationships with clients, providing account management and clinical subject matter expertise focusing on client success in utilizing Oracle’s solutions. Through the use of Oracle’s implementation approach and methodology, the Clinical Consultant will assist in the change management, help identify opportunities for improvement, and is accountable for achieving the project’s targeted outcomes.

Senior level position that acts as a liaison between the clinical and IT departments, leveraging clinical knowledge specific to a domain expertise (Healthcare, informatics, and clinical) to provide innovative solutions. Responsible for applying statistical, research, clinical theories, and methods to solve problems. As a member of the team, follows standard practices and procedures to consult and collaborate with clients to design clinical workflows, manage the client’s value measurement plan, support the engagement management team in ensuring project deliverables and timelines are met, lead client meetings and facilitate clinical alignment and adoption of technology and cultivate client relationships to achieve health and business outcomes. Must have knowledge in reference to value-based care regulations and standard healthcare operating procedures. Mentors other clinical consultants and contributes to internal organization and team initiatives. Maintains a high level of professional expertise through familiarity with domain literature and reports. Strong understanding of healthcare strategy, operations, and ability to adjust to changing industry regulatory requirements.

Bachelors or Advance degree required with respective clinical expertise (Nursing, Pharmacy, Clinical Studies, Informatics, Health Care or related fields).

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 8 years of total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
    • At least 2 year of licensed health care practice, clinical consulting, and/or other clinical healthcare information technology work experience
  • Health Data Intelligence Population Health Management experience
    • At least 6 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education including:
      • Bachelor’s degree in nursing, Clinical Studies, or Healthcare

 Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree and/or certification in related fields
  • At least 2 years of healthcare information technology project deployment/adoption,  sales, or consulting work experience

  • Willing to travel up to 80% as needed

Responsibilities

An experienced professional who is a domain and process expert with a deep understanding of research, clinical practices and solutions. Partner with Oracle client Clinical leadership to form longitudinal relationships and holistically impact client performance and satisfaction through optimization activities and strategic initiatives during client project engagements. Collaborate with development teams to design and position innovative solutions in the marketplace. Leads solution design for existing and prospective external customer engagements. Identifies areas for new solution offerings. Analyzes external customer needs and exercises judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques to design non-routine and complex solutions to help ensure Oracle solution meets the customer’s objectives by combining industry best practices and product/process knowledge. Influences external customer leadership in acceptance of Oracle solutions and services to facilitate the closing of deals. Leads the domain specific solution design aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality and integrated solutions. Supports the business development efforts by pursuing new opportunities and extensions. May perform other duties as assigned.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $97,500 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
