A Day in the Life

Within Acute Care & Monitoring (ACM) our broad portfolio of solutions spans the continuum of care to support minimally-invasive treatments by reducing complications to accelerate patient recovery. To reinforce our team, we are looking for an experienced Senior Therapy Sales Specialist for our Patient Monitoring Portfolio to support customers across the Netherlands.

You will be reporting to the Acute Care & Monitoring Regional Sales Manager, Benelux. You will be part of a Benelux team and are expected to travel across the Netherlands, with occasional travel with possibly overnight stays.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned

  • Promoting and implementing Medtronic's products and services within specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets, in close collaboration with the account manager.
  • Responsible to establish and implement education of the company's products and/or services
  • Developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with healthcare professionals and other clinical stakeholders to drive adoption of technologies as standard of care.
  • Pursuing leads, assessing customer needs and providing product services to maximizing the benefits derived from Medtronic's products and/or services
  • Conducting market research, including customers and competitors’ activities
  • Communicating customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders, including R&D, Operations and Marketing

Required Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum of 7 – 10 years of relevant experience in a similar role
  • Expertise in clinical setting is a must, specifically within all settings of the hospital
  • Demonstrated success in presenting and educating audiences on technology solutions, effectively driving adoption and enhancing user engagement
  • Excellent communication skills with a proven track record of leading through influence, and the ability to navigate effectively within a matrixed and complex environment
  • Comfortable navigating in a matrix & complex environment
  • Fluency in Dutch and English
