The Senior Specialist, Product Manager, Clinical Informatics at Amplify Health plays a critical role in shaping the future of digital health solutions across Asia. This position operates at the intersection of technology, healthcare, and innovation, driving transformative initiatives that improve patient outcomes and redefine healthcare delivery models.

The Product Manager is responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle management of products—from ideation and concept validation to development, launch, and continuous optimisation. This includes defining the product vision, setting strategic priorities, and ensuring that every product aligns with Amplify Health’s mission to make healthcare more accessible, affordable, and effective.

The role requires a strategic thinker and hands-on executor who can translate high-level business objectives into actionable product roadmaps. The Product Manager leverages emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, and cloud-native architectures to deliver innovative solutions that meet evolving customer needs and regulatory requirements.

As a key leader, the Product Manager collaborates cross-functionally with business, technology, and external partners to ensure seamless delivery. They champion customer-centric design principles, integrating behavioural insights and advanced analytics to personalise health experiences and improve engagement.

Responsibilities

1) Clinical Product Strategy & Vision

  • Own 1 clinical‑backed product strategy and multi‑year roadmap aligned to customer outcomes and business objectives.

  • Drive the clinical, insurance and technology roadmap and vision of the product will intersect clinical and insurance

  • Define target problems, personas, JTBDs, and success metrics for payers, providers, employers, and members.

  • Drive data‑informed prioritization using frameworks such as WSJF, RICE, or equivalent value models.

  • Make explicit trade‑offs balancing customer value, technical complexity, regulatory risk, and commercial impact.

Note: Based on candidate experience and understanding – candidate will be assigned 1 product within the clinical informatics portfolio which includes clinical encoder, member risk profile, clinical terminology database and clinical insights.

 

2) Discovery, Design & Outcomes

  • Run structured discovery (customer interviews, prototype tests, betas, VOC programs), and instrument products with dashboards/analytics to measure adoption, engagement, and outcomes.

  • Champion API-First design for B2B scalability and enhanced Integration experience adoption through use-cases based interfaces, SDKs, Implementation guide.

3) Interoperability & Data Architecture

  • Partner with architecture/engineering to deliver API first, cloud agnostic services and integrations, leveraging HL7 FHIR/SMART on FHIR for data models, auth and scopes, and secure EHR/payer connections.

  • Ensure solutions can ingest/serve longitudinal health data and payer data, and support bulk data and near real-time workflows where appropriate.

4) Privacy, Security & Compliance

  • Embed privacy by design; for example, align to PDPA in Singapore (and analogous regimes in other markets), and incorporate NEHR/HIB data sharing requirements in Singapore.

  • Collaborate with InfoSec to implement ISO/IEC 27001 controls and pursue standard like HITRUST aligned assurance for healthcare customers, as appropriate to product scope.

5) Delivery & Quality

  • Run Agile delivery with crisp backlog management, well-formed PRDs/Epics/Stories, and definition of done that includes security, privacy, performance, and observability.

  • Drive experimentation and A/B testing; ensure robust post launch monitoring and incident response playbooks are in place for mission-critical B2B Integrations.

6) Go-To-Market & Commercialisation

  • Partner with Sales, CS, Clinical and Operations on packaging, pricing, launch readiness, and product enablement playbooks, with minimum adjustments to different customer segment and country.

  • Own success metrics: time to value, logo/market expansion, renewal/retention, measured clinical/financial outcomes per solution.


Candidate Profile

Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline required.

  • Medical degree (MD/MBBS), health sciences background, MBA, or other advanced degree is highly advantageous.

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in either:

    • B2B product management with end-to-end lifecycle ownership and a demonstrated track record of delivering impactful features, or

    • A healthcare insurer environment, with strong understanding of end-to-end processes, operational workflows, and key pain points.

  • Proven ability to deliver complex, cross functional products within agile development environments.

  • Strong interoperability awareness, including understanding of OpenAPI concepts, FHIR resources, and how SMART on FHIR enables secure, scoped access to health data (OAuth 2.0/OIDC and app launch patterns).

  • Working knowledge of data privacy and security requirements, including PDPA obligations (consent, purpose limitation, protection, and breach notification), with experience collaborating with Information Security teams toward ISO 27001 controls.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in prioritisation and value-based decision making, leveraging frameworks such as WSJF and RICE, defining KPIs and OKRs, and applying product analytics to measure outcomes.

  • Health InsurTech Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of the end‑to‑end healthcare insurance ecosystem, including insurers, providers, regulators, and partners across payments, integrations, operations, product, member, claims, and clinical journeys. Demonstrates either deep expertise in one or two APAC markets, complemented by a strong perspective on global best practices. Brings a nuanced understanding of customer pain points across the lifecycle, with clear judgment on which problems customers are willing to pay to solve.

  • Clinical Domain Knowledge: Working knowledge of clinical coding and terminology used by payers and providers (e.g., CPT, ICD‑10‑CM, ICD‑11). Familiarity with clinical tools such as coders, groupers, and classification systems. Understanding of clinical measurement and outcomes frameworks (e.g., AHRQ, HEDIS), WHO‑aligned pathways for member programmes, and evidence‑based clinical guidelines. Demonstrates awareness of how clinical variation impacts insurer and provider economics and outcomes, as well as CMS‑influenced guidelines related to payment models, quality programmes, screening, prevention, and value‑based care initiatives.

  • Technical Expertise Domain: Demonstrates strong technical fluency to effectively bridge business and technology, enabling secure, scalable product delivery. Proficient in agile delivery, data analytics, cloud platforms, and API‑driven architectures, with awareness of emerging technologies such as AI/ML and IoT. Applies privacy‑by‑design principles and collaborates closely with UX/UI, engineering, and security teams to deliver customer‑centric and compliant solutions.

  • Customer Obsessed & Outcome-Driven: Acts as a relentless advocate for customers, prioritising user needs, seamless integration experiences, and real‑world outcomes in every decision. Leads continuous discovery through customer interviews, structured betas, pilots, and voice‑of‑customer feedback loops.
