You will support the Clinical Informatics and Enterprise Informatics businesses, acting as the legal business partner for Imaging Informatics and contributing directly to the success of the business.

As Philips’ Senior Legal Counsel in the EI Legal Team you will act as a Legal Business Partner for Clinical Informatics, Enterprise Informatics. Philips Healthcare Informatics focuses on two key areas: Imaging Informatics and Clinical Informatics. Our Clinical Informatics business unit supports productivity, diagnostic confidence, and informed decision-making throughout the care pathway. The portfolio includes solutions for acute and virtual care, radiology, pathology, urology, and electronic medical records (EMR) in LATAM — all designed to help clinicians save time, improve outcomes, and advance hybrid models of care delivery.

A Senior Legal Counsel and Legal Business Partner, you will provides comprehensive legal support to enable and safeguard the full scope of the business’s activities. This includes advising on the development of new business models for products and solutions, strategic alliances/partnerships, procurement, marketing, research and development and managing claims/legal disputes. The role also covers key compliance areas of growing importance, such as cybersecurity, quality and regulatory matters, privacy, and healthcare compliance.

We are organized around different areas and regions. You will be part of the EI Legal Team consists of 4 lawyers that are supporting the Enterprise Informatics business. The role will be based in The Netherlands

We are looking for a true team player who is determined to deliver high-quality legal advice in a pragmatic and business-oriented manner. You should have a proactive mindset, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of internal stakeholders and external partners. In addition, you are able to advise the management of the business and act as their legal business partner and trusted advisor, providing clear, strategic guidance on complex matters.

You are the right fit if you have:

• A Master’s degree in Law (LLM) or equivalent academic qualification;
• 10+ years of experience in commercial contracting and legal business partnering;
• Hands-on expertise in IT matters, including IT procurement/licensing, SAAS and cloud agreements, IT implementation / transition and cloud migration projects, artificial intelligence, and the handling of IT-related disputes;
• A strongly developed business sense and a flexible, solution-oriented way of working;
• Demonstrated experience in handling complex matters independently, including with demanding clients and senior management;
• Excellent client management and communication skills, with fluency in English (both written and spoken).
• A keen interest in healthcare, IT/technology, and new business developments.
