We are seeking a Senior Healthcare Data Analyst to help transform complex clinical and operational data into trusted insights that support mission-driven decision-making. In this role, you’ll collaborate with engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to analyze integrated healthcare datasets, validate data outputs, and support analytics, reporting, and data product workflows within a regulated federal health environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll support enterprise intelligence and data solutions by analyzing, curating, and validating complex datasets across a federated healthcare data ecosystem. Working closely with technical teams and stakeholders, you’ll help translate business and operational needs into clear data requirements, dashboards, and analytical outputs that support mission outcomes. You’ll contribute to data quality and governance efforts by validating integrated datasets, reviewing schema and lineage outputs, and helping ensure data products are reliable, secure, and aligned with real-world workflows across Military Health and related federal domains.

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience analyzing large, complex datasets in enterprise, healthcare, or government environments
  • Strong SQL skills and familiarity with BI or visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik, Power BI, or similar)
  • Understanding of data quality validation, dataset reconciliation, and analytical best practices
  • Ability to translate business or mission questions into clear data insights and reporting outputs
  • Experience collaborating with engineers, architects, and non-technical stakeholders across integrated systems
  • Familiarity working with governed datasets, metadata, or lineage concepts is preferred
  • Comfort working across multiple integrated data sources or enterprise data platforms
  • Strong communication skills and ability to present findings clearly
  • Exposure to healthcare data standards such as HL7, FHIR, or OMOP is a plus
  • Prior experience supporting DHA or other federal healthcare programs is preferred
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. In alignment with federal contract requirements, certain roles may also require U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a federal background investigation and/or a security clearance.

Compensation:

At Oddball, it’s important each employee is compensated competitively and fairly. In alignment with state legal requirements. A range for the included position is listed below. Be advised, actual offer details are determined by job category, job location, and candidate skill level.

United States Wage Range: $100,000 – $150,000
