In this role, you will drive advancements in healthcare data management, impacting client success across various institutions. Accountabilities
- Serve as the primary consultant for multiple clients, providing expert‑level guidance on EHR data structures and best practices.
- Lead requirements-gathering sessions and translate complex clinical workflows into actionable technical specifications.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnership.
- Design and optimize sophisticated EHR data extracts focusing on Epic and Cerner systems.
- Develop SQL queries and manage large-scale data sets with integrity and accuracy.
- Conduct validation efforts to ensure consistency in extracted health data.
- Collaborate with technical and clinical stakeholders for effective outcomes.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in informatics within a healthcare institution.
- Deep understanding of clinical workflows, particularly in radiology.
- Expertise in Epic tools; Cerner experience is a plus.
- Advanced SQL skills and experience with data modeling.
- Familiarity with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR) is advantageous.
- Proven capability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills to engage with both technical and non-technical audiences.
