Responsible for driving the client through the design of clinical and business processes, solution and technology workflow, and successful adoption that will lead to achieved value. Manage ongoing relationships with clients, providing account management and clinical subject matter expertise focusing on client success in utilizing Oracle's solutions. Through the use of Oracle's implementation approach and methodology, the Consultant will assist in change management, help identify opportunities for improvement, and is accountable for achieving the project’s targeted outcomes.
As a Clinical Informaticist, you will provide informatics knowledge and function as a liaison between the clinical department and IT, using both clinical and application background to provide innovative solutions to drive standardization and the adoption of Model technology and workflows. As a clinical informaticist, you are responsible for leading the department through the design of clinical processes, solutions, technology workflow and successful adoption that will lead to achieved value, by participating in efforts which meet departmental needs in adherence with the guidelines aligned with the organization strategy.
You will be responsible for establishing positive relationships with department leaders inside the client organization, collaborate across teams to plan, implement, and evaluate the efficiency of systems and services, as well as ensure appropriate communication and documentation is completed to support high quality clinical workflow and application development.
The clinical informaticist is responsible for all provider training from the initial EMR training, workflow training both in the organization and in the clinic, and for all new enhancements, optimizations, and new provider solutions. This position assists the onsite Training and Education Department with new solution training and workflows so they can adequately provider all other system training to employees.
CI is the first line of troubleshooting for all clinical issues that are reported through the help desk and will work collaboratively with the appropriate IT teams such as application, business intelligence, workstation, and infrastructure teams to achieve resolution for the client.
Clinical Informatics will also take part in Millennium Fundamentals and Build in Maintain classes as assigned to further augment building and support the clinical applications in use at the client site.
The clinical informaticist will assist in change management activities and documentation as well as leverage internal and external resources and tools to deliver problem identification and resolution.
