Aside from direct patient care, faculty will have the opportunity to pursue academic interests such as the following: Teach a variety of courses within the medical school curriculum Educate learners within our Family Medicine residencies and fellowships Conduct research and scholarly activity within an institution that had $774.5 million in grant funding in FY23, and includes potential collaborators such as Precision Medicine, the Center for Exercise Medicine, Preventive Medicine, the Lakeshore Foundation, and UAB Nutrition Obesity Research Center ( NORC ) Continue to develop our expertise in Precision Medicine, Value-Based Care, Leadership in Medicine, Point of Care Ultrasound ( POCUS ), Digital Health, and Lifestyle & Exercise Medicine
Required Qualifications
Consideration will be given to a board-certified MD or DO for a part-time or full-time position. Position is a twelve-month, non-tenure earning position, at the rank of Assistant Professor. Rank and salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
