Visiting Angels St. Pete–Largo is a respected Nurse Registry based in St. Petersburg, proudly serving clients throughout Pinellas County since 2006. We refer qualified, vetted independent caregivers to provide non-medical home care services.

We are currently seeking a Clinical Support Coordinator (RN/LPN) to serve as the Administrator’s primary liaison. This essential role supports day-to-day operations and helps ensure exceptional service for both clients and caregivers.

Compensation: $26/hour
Schedule: Four-day work week, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Support & Liaison

  • Serve as the Administrator’s main point of contact for all internal and external communications
  • Maintain documentation and follow through on tasks and communication

Client Intake Coordination

  • Handle intake calls, explain services and rates, and assess care needs
  • Identify additional service needs and send out intake paperwork
  • Follow up on paperwork and review for accuracy
  • Coordinate care and provide ongoing client support
  • Handoff to Executive Coordinator and follow up to ensure timely scheduling

Caregiver Onboarding & Compliance

  • Review resumes, conduct background and reference checks
  • Guide caregivers through the registration process
  • Explain the nurse registry model and independent contractor status
  • Oversee caregiver compliance with all registry and regulatory standards

Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Support smooth daily operations and positive client/caregiver interactions
  • Assist in resolving issues and maintaining workflow efficiency

Qualifications

  • RN or LPN license preferred
  • Comfortable and confident communicating by phone
  • Strong follow-up and attention to detail
  • Background in medical or home care settings preferred
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Highly organized with problem-solving skills and initiative
