Position Title: Registered Nurse – Case Manager / Utilization Review / CDI
Location: Syracuse, NY
Job Type: Contract | Local or Travel
Shift: Days (8 hours × 5 days)
Duration: 13-Week Assignment
Weekly Pay: $2,437.50 to $2,651.50

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Registered Nurse – Case Manager / Utilization Review / CDI for an exciting Travel or Local job in Syracuse, NY.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive case management for patients in an acute care setting.

• Conduct utilization review to ensure appropriate level of care and resource utilization.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve clinical documentation and patient outcomes.

• Monitor patient progress and facilitate safe and effective discharge planning.

• Ensure documentation is accurate and compliant with regulatory requirements.

• Use EPIC EMR for documentation and communication.

• Communicate effectively with providers, payers, and patients to coordinate care.

Qualifications:

• Current New York State RN license.

• BLS certification (or ability to recertify).

• Minimum 1.5 years of recent acute care hospital experience (within last 2 years) in a similar or higher-acuity setting.

• Proficiency with EPIC Electronic Medical Records.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and pre-employment health clearance.
