What You Will Do
You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring quality control processes and continuous improvement initiatives throughout our food production cycle. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure all products meet the highest safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain quality control procedures aligned with industry standards and regulatory needs.
- Experience translating laboratory-benchtop formulations into commercially viable products in a large-scale manufacturing facility.
- Proficiency with analytical testing equipment.
- Analyze data to identify improvement areas and lead root cause analysis for issues and complaints, implementing corrective actions. Collaborate with other teams to drive initiatives.
- Maintain records of assessments and actions. Prepare quality reports for management.
- Develop, manage, and maintain documentation systems for food quality assurance and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, R&D, Co-Manufacturing Partners) to support documentation needs for product testing and trialing.
- Track and manage corrective actions and preventive measures (CAPA) documentation in relation to quality complaints.
- Assist in the development of documentation for food quality programs.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to food quality systems.
- Assist with project workflow for quality projects
- Assist with managing co-man quality improvement projects
Who You Are
The ideal candidate has a meticulous eye for detail, strong analytical skills, an understanding of ingredient functionality and a commitment to excellence in the food industry.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years in food manufacturing R&D or QA/QC.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- An understanding of how ingredients interact chemically and physically during processing and storage.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with relevant software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to travel up to 75% of the time
- Reside in California or Wisconsin
