π What Youβll Do:
As our Quality Improvement Officer, youβll be central to driving improvements in tutor and coach delivery. Youβll support staff development, embed high teaching standards, and ensure learners consistently receive engaging, impactful sessions that lead to success.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading initiatives to raise the quality of tutor and coach delivery across all centres
Carrying out lesson observations and providing constructive feedback to staff
Coaching, mentoring, and training tutors to develop their teaching practice
Supporting Centre Leads and Lead Practitioners with staff development strategies
Tracking staff qualifications and identifying skills gaps/training needs
Designing resources, lesson plans, and schemes of work to model best practice
Facilitating student and staff feedback to drive continual improvement
Promoting safeguarding, British Values, and inclusive education throughout delivery
π§ What Weβre Looking For:
Essential:
Level 3/A Level in Maths and/or English
Level 4 Teaching Qualification
Experience teaching employability, numeracy, and literacy
Strong understanding of teaching standards and effective delivery practices
Positive, energetic, and solutions-focused personality
Excellent communication, organisation, and IT skills
Desirable:
Subject specialism (e.g. Functional Skills)
Experience in coaching, mentoring, or staff development
Supervisory or management experience

This role requires regular travel to various Juniper centres, so access to transport is essential.
