Monday - Friday 
8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

May work between 20 to 40 hours per week.

May be required to work evening hours depending on campus events.


Health Sciences Division at Pasadena City College is hiring 3 Professional Experts to support the needs of laboratory classes offered by the Nursing and Allied Health Programs.


EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:

  • Assist faculty and lab technicians with organization, inventory, supplies and materials needed to support lab classes.
  • Assist lab technicians and faculty with the organization and preparation day-to-day needs of the lab classes offered by the Health Sciences Division.
  • Assist with identification and compilation of supplies and materials needed to support skills labs.
  • Timely reporting to faculty and classified staff if needed materials are not available.
  • Assist classified staff with unpacking and organization of laboratory supplies and equipment needed to support instructional programs.
  • Assist with other projects as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Familiarity with the types of supplies and equipment commonly used in clinical settings, including safe handling of sterile and contaminated medical supplies.
  •  Healthcare certificate or bachelor's degree in allied health, nursing, or a related field; and at least 3 months of professional experience.
