Pay Range

$97.75 - $156.40

Major Responsibilities:

  • Administers College operations including programs, services, policies, and proceduresIdentifies areas for collaboration between the College and other health system entities to maximize program enrollment, student support services, and faculty sharingLeads discovery efforts for new and emerging programs for health system and community impact 
  • Oversees the development, implementation, and regular updating of strategic, facility, technology, and financial long-range plans by collaborating with enterprise leadership. 
  • Negotiates and updates contracts, including Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with the health system for shared services such as facilities, security, information technology and human resources.   
  • Assumes fiscal responsibility for and oversees financial operations of the College to meet operating and capital budget targets set forward by Advocate Health and approved by the Governing Board(s). 
  • Develops and sustains an organizational structure of qualified administrative team members, faculty and staff. 
  • Ensures compliance with State and Federal higher educational laws, accreditation standards, and best practices.   
  • Facilitates continuous assessment and improvement of the Colleges performance including financial performance, student enrollment, retention and on-time graduation, and certification and licensure pass-rates. 
  • Promotes maximum utilization of space and physical resources by collaborating with health system facilities leaders. 
  • Engages and maintains a collaborative working relationship with the Governing Boards.   
  • Oversees fund raising and fund management in collaboration with the Foundation.

None required

Education Required:

Master's degree . 

Experience Required:

Minimum of 10 years experience in higher education management and/or administration.  

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Excellent organizational skills. 

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

Work normally performed in a typical interior office environment. Extended periods of standing, walking, sitting, bending, and stretching; as well as frequent movement throughout the College and agency campuses. Visual and auditory acuity within normal lines or corrected. Occasional driving to other locations. Travel and overnight stays associated with College business.
