Job Summary
As a member of the nursing faculty team under the direction of the nursing director, the clinical/lab instructor is responsible for facilitating the learning needs of students and faculty in lab/clinical settings. The clinical/lab instructor will participate in the development, implementation, instruction and evaluation of the nursing program; and assist the faculty in the organization and maintenance of the lab equipment and manage the lab learning environment. The clinical/lab instructor will plan, supervise, and evaluate student learning in the clinical practice environment when assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
1. Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina. 2. Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing required. 3. Membership in one or more professional organizations. 4. Three years in clinical nursing practice 5. Clinical/lab teaching experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Nursing education preferred.
