Job Description

The Fitness Instructor is responsible for the fitness journey of clients from beginning to end. This includes listening to clients about their personal fitness goals and developing training programs to help clients achieve that goal. Demonstrations of technique and providing of tips will be a part of the job to help clients achieve their desired physical fitness state. 

  • Work with clients on a one to one basis and be a good listener to what they are wanting to achieve
  • Create curated training programs and classes for clients & guests 
  • Demonstrate training techniques and movements
  • Provide tips and advice on improving form and achieving their goal
  • Ensure safe and effective use of training equipment
  • Maintain training equipment hygiene and safety

This is a part-time position. The starting pay rate for this position is $16.99 per hour plus gratuities. This is the pay rate for this position that Solage reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual pay will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education.

Qualifications

  • At least two years of experience as a fitness / personal trainer.
  • Fitness Certification required through a nationally recognized organization
  • High energy personality, passionate about health & fitness and helping others achieve their goals
  • Knowledge of the fundamentals of exercise science and fitness techniques.
  • Understanding of nutrition and diet.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead classes effectively.
  • First aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation training required
