Ability to navigate relationships with diverse populations. Ability to advise students for classes, transfer options, and career opportunities in the field. Ability to speak in front of groups of people. Must be able to communicate effectively with students, co-workers, supervisors, and the campus community. Must be able to develop, prepare and present information. Must be able to operate computers. Must be able to operate simulation equipment. Must be able to physically perform the duties of the position
Desirable Qualifications
Master’s degree in Nursing or doctoral degree Previous teaching experience preferably at a community college Experience maintaining Laerdal simulation lab equipment; Experience with programming scenario applications for simulation; r Recent experience (within previous 5 years) in acute medical/surgical area;
Required Qualifications
Bachelors of Science degree with a major in Nursing and enrolled in a Master’s of Science Nursing program showing progression Registered Nurse license in New York State Experience with high fidelity medical simulation equipment
