Job Summary
Provides OB education and nursing support to OB patients under supervision of PhysiciansEssential Functions

Performs Ob work-ups - first visit after + pregnancy test - what to expect during pregnancy
Receives and returns all phone calls related to and from ob patients
Calls in prescriptions for ob patients per physician orders
Reviews all ob labs, involving physicians when abnormal
Pre-certs all deliveries
Performs pre-natal blood work for health assessment
Coordinates ob charts with Labor and Delivery before due date
Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervisory/Management Responsibility
This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive.
Minimum Requirements
Education - Associate degree from an accredited school of nursing with RN degree
Experience - Five (5) years of experience in Ob office, Labor and Delivery, or equivalent
In Lieu Of
Team members employed in this job prior to July 1, 2020, are grandfathered under prior educational and experience requirements. In addition, team members must be certification eligible and will have one (1) year to obtain required certification.
Required Certifications, Registrations, Licenses
Holds a current RN compact/multistate license recognized by the NCSBN Compact State or is licensed to practice as an RN in the state the team member is working.
