About the Role

 

The NCSS Assistants role is to support the Non-Clinical District Support Team in the below operational areas of the organisation.

 

  • Goods inwards receiving
  • General non-trades related maintenance duties
  • Community equipment cleaning and maintenance
  • General non-clinical service support
  • Medical gas supply
  • Support rostering for Cleaning Services team

About you

 

Our ideal candidate will

  • Have a high degree of competence in completing basic non trades maintenance tasks, general repairs, maintenance, etc.
  • Have a good level of general fitness, cooperative nature and the ability to work independently
  • Evidence of good literacy and numeracy skills and a base understanding of personal computer use
  • Be adaptable and flexible with working hours to undertake infrequent rostering support for our Cleaning Team (sickness and/or annual leave)
  • A high standard of interpersonal communication skills, both written and oral
  • Works well within a team environment and be able to foster good interpersonal relationships with people at all levels of the organisation
  • Be dependable, honest and ethical; shows a high level of respect for our Staff and Community visitors
  • Acts with discretion, sensitivity and integrity at all times
