THE OPPORTUNITY


Spend only 1-2 hours a week and provide your expertise in Neurology by conducting Utilization Reviews in the Utilization Management/Peer Review process. A current TEXAS Medical License is required.


IS REVIEW WORK FOR ME?


  • Are you interested in staying informed of changes and knowing what treatments are being utilized by other Neurologists.
  • Are you interested in learning more about how to get your own patient’s treatment approved?
  • Most MRIoA reviewers average 1-2 hours per week. However, there are no minimum expectations.
  • Cases typically take 30-60 minutes to complete.


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

• You will be covered under MRIoA’s Errors and Omissions policy (traditional Malpractice Insurance is not applicable for review work)

• Work anywhere within the USA (Per HIPAA Regulations, patient records cannot leave the US).

• Non-employed Independent Contractor (1099) opportunity.

  • Must be an MD or DO, Board Certified in Neurology
  • Must have 5 years of patient care experience in Neurology
  • Must have solid computer navigation skills
  • Must have an unrestricted TEXAS state medical licensure
  • Must be a US Citizen or hold a Green Card (we are unable to sponsor a VISA)

Ability to sit at a desk, utilize a computer, telephone, and other basic office equipment is required. This role is designed to be a remote position (work-from-home).
