Mental Health Program Coordinator

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Mental Health Program Coordinator to join our Behavioral Health team. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of mental health programming, providing clinical supervision to staff, and ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance. This leadership role requires close collaboration with the medical team, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to support quality, effective, and client-centered mental health services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of mental health programming, ensuring efficient service delivery and client satisfaction.
• Supervise clinical staff, including providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with the medical team to coordinate and integrate clinical and medical services.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with state, county, and federal standards.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records; facilitate internal and external audits.
• Oversee and coordinate responses to inspections and audits by state, county, and other stakeholders.
• Develop and implement staff training and development programs; document participation and outcomes.

Requirements:

• Must meet criteria to qualify as a Mental Health Professional.
• Minimum of a Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychiatry, or a related behavioral health field.
• Current registration, licensure, or certification to practice in the state of PA
• Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience in a mental health setting.
• At least two (2) years of supervisory experience in a clinical or behavioral health environment.
• Strong knowledge of mental health regulations, documentation standards, and compliance procedures.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Experience working within state-funded mental health programs.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Knowledge of OMHSAS regulations
• Strong communicator with leadership skills
