Job Summary

We are seeking a high-performing Medical Sales Representative with a biomedical engineering background and a passion for sales to drive the promotion and sales of cutting-edge biomedical and diagnostic equipment in Lagos and surrounding territories. The successful candidate will combine technical expertise, solution-based selling, and strong relationship management to expand our customer base and exceed revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Prospect and acquire new clients through field visits, referrals, cold calling, and digital outreach.

  • Present and demonstrate biomedical products to healthcare professionals with a focus on clinical relevance and ROI.

  • Negotiate pricing, close deals, and manage the sales process from pitch to payment.

  • Achieve and surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Technical Product Knowledge & Support

  • Explain features, benefits, and usage of biomedical equipment to non-technical clients.

  • Recommend products based on diagnostic or clinical needs.

  • Supervise delivery, installation, and staff training on product use.

  • Provide basic post-sales troubleshooting and client support.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with procurement officers, biomedical engineers, doctors, and decision-makers.

  • Ensure client satisfaction through effective after-sales service and responsiveness.

  • Coordinate with internal support teams for delivery, service, and warranty issues.

Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Stay informed about competitors, emerging technologies, and pricing shifts.

  • Submit timely market feedback and sales performance reports.

  • Maintain up-to-date CRM entries, prospect pipelines, and follow-up schedules.


Requirements

Key Competencies & Skills

  • Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably in medical/technical sales

  • Solid understanding of biomedical or diagnostic equipment

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

  • Confidence in product demonstrations and technical discussions

  • Self-driven with effective time and territory management skills

  • Customer-focused mindset with excellent follow-through
