Job Description 1. Strategic Sales Management
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives across the region.
Monitor performance against KPIs and adjust plans to ensure targets are met.
Meets company deliverables including, but not limited to the following KPIs: increasing sku-penetration, order frequency/size, OPP participation, growing top 20 skus, and bringing on new business and meeting goals for Medical Device Sales
2. Team Leadership & Development
Provide leadership and direction while meeting sales goals and managing the sales activities and coaching and development of sales representatives
Set clear goals and provide ongoing feedback, support, and training.
Recruits and selects qualified candidates to fill open sales positions within the Region
3. Market & Business Intelligence
Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
Provide strategic input to guide product positioning and market penetration efforts.
4. Key Account & Customer Relationship Management
Build and strengthen relationships with hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, and healthcare institutions.
Ensure high customer satisfaction and long-term partnership development.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with medical, regulatory, supply chain, and finance teams to support business continuity.
Coordinate timely product registration, availability, and order processing.
6. Sales Reporting & Forecasting
Track and report sales performance, market share, and growth trends. Provide accurate sales forecasts and business insights to senior leadership.
7. Marketing & Product Support
Support new product launches and promotional campaigns with market feedback. Collaborate with marketing to tailor initiatives that resonate with local market needs.
Background requirements
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical or medical industry
Direct sales, B2B, dermatological, skin care or specialty pharmaceutical sales and sales management experience, strongly preferred
Proven leadership skills with experience managing sales teams.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Skilled at applying past learnings and knowledge to new situations
