DescriptionProvides effective, reliable support for systems users. Serves as contact point when system impacts occur across regions. Works jointly across regions to arrive at systems decisions that affect the entire Hapag-Lloyd organization. He/ She will assist both internal and external customers in resolving complex issues requiring specialized knowledge of a functional area and/or broad knowledge across functions. The Manager possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge of the principles, practices and procedures of a particular field of specialization in order to resolve complex issues or to build consensus. He/ She may supervise the work of other Managers and/ or Supervisors, as well as manage complex accounts, claims or customers. Ensures that the US Flag group is in compliance with the requirements of the US Government, including facilities, processes and service contracts. Responsible for ongoing reviews of US Flag processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
ResponsibilitiesFacility Security Officer
- Handle the required FSO responsibilities as required within the NISPOM.
- Manage overall Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) compliance activities
- Ensure The facility’s officer, directors, and employees comply with the provisions of the facility’s mitigation agreement
- Ensure that DCSA is advised of any known attempts to violate any provision of the Facility’s mitigation agreement or relevant U.S. government contract provision related to security, U.S. export control laws, or the NISP
- Ensure Affiliated Services being provided between the FOCI Company and the affiliates that have been approved in advance DSCA
- Insider Threat Program Senior Official
- Liaise as required with Department of Defense Cyber Security Unit and Department of Homeland Security
- Ensure compliance with USGOV’s cyber-security requirements, including NIST and CMMC reporting and audits
- Ensure compliance with all USGOV’s contracts, including Maritime Security Program, VISA, USC, Household Goods, etc.
- Ensure compliance with all tariff filings, risk reporting, MARAD reporting, etc.
- Maintain day-to-day oversight to ensure all Affiliated Services, FLPs, TCPs, ECPs, and Visitation Procedures are fully implemented and effectively mitigate the FOCI
Process Improvement
- Continuously review current business processes to drive standardization, efficiency, and improved business results.
- Ensures that the standard business processes are maintained by the Area • Develops new business processes for smoother workflows
- Liaise with the different support departments to find systematic solutions to process challenges and to improve productivity
Technology
- Liaise with Kyndryl, Hamburg IT, and Regional IT staff on project and issues effecting the US flag environment.
- Over-sight role to ensure that the US Flag group is in compliance with the mandates dictated by USTRANSCOM and Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA)
- Provides help desk, administrative, and EDI support to system users
- Point of contact for Area users when regional and global changes occur within Hapag-Lloyd systems
- Coordinates and assists in new system rollouts; provides training on new applications when necessary
- Responsible for updating and testing improvements of company software
- Manages and updates all Area users within company systems
- Works with Corporate RPX in regards to e-Biz and EDI issues
Other
- Manages building security including camera and alarm system monitoring
- Responsible for all Area QEM activities including training and year audit
- Local Training Administrator, (LTA) ensure that all departmental and functional training requirements are fulfilled
- Work with Building Service to manage all site maintenance and projects are scheduled and completed

- University Degree with a minimumof5 years of IT infrastructure experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Possesses Specialized knowledge of 5 or more years and /or 2 years in a broader functional area.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret Clearance
