The Manager of Crew Productivity & Process Improvement is a strategic leader responsible for optimizing crew performance, improving operational efficiency, and supporting the delivery of internal tools and processes that enhance workforce effectiveness. Operating at the intersection of operations, process excellence, AI Innovation and product strategy, this role translates frontline needs into scalable, technology driven improvements. Responsibilities include analyzing productivity metrics, change management as it relates to onboard scheduling, proposing solutions that enhance crew productivity, and coordinating with other departments to enhance overall workflow. A critical focus of the role is evaluating, implementing, and governing AI driven tools including automation, decision-support models, predictive analytics, and intelligent scheduling solutions to ensure they meaningfully improve crew productivity and align with enterprise goals.
Essential Functions:
Own and monitor crew productivity metrics and benchmarks, performance trends, and utilization.
Identify efficiency gaps and lead initiatives to improve productivity and service quality.
Partner with operations leadership to align staffing models onboard with demand forecasts.
Ensure successful rollout, adoption and change management of scheduling system and new features.
Serve as the product owner for the crew scheduling system. Oversee configuration, optimization, and ongoing enhancements of scheduling tools.
Communicate roadmap priorities of scheduling system, tradeoffs, and timelines to stakeholders.
Leverage advanced AI tools to deliver clear, high‑level insights on crew productivity and system performance, translating findings into actionable recommendations that guide operational and technology strategy.
Lead team of project coordinators / specialists.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Scope: Manage Shipboard activity and/or process. Partner with Shipboard personnel. Collaborate with both Shoreside and Shipboard.
Problem solving: Serve as the product owner for the crew scheduling system. Oversee configuration, optimization, and ongoing enhancements of scheduling tools.
Impact: Ensure successful rollout, adoption and change management of scheduling system and new features
Leadership: The role requires a strong background in process analysis, workforce technology, and AI enablement, with the ability to influence at multiple levels, shape future-state operating models, and deliver measurable productivity outcomes that support the organization’s broader strategic direction.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, business or operations
Lean, six sigma, workforce management systems
Minimum 4 years of experience.
Preferred experience in workforce management, operations, process improvement, change management, product thinking, leveraging advanced AI tools and analytics
Strong analytical background
Travel: Less than 25% with shipboard travel likely
Work Conditions: Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
Physical Demands: Remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time, reasonable adjustments will be offered.
This position is classified as “in-office.” As an in-office role, it requires employees to work from a designated Carnival office in South Florida Monday through Thursday each week. Employees may work from their homes on Fridays. Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area.
